The Scale of Time is a curated collection of five literary experiments, each exploring the emotional and philosophical textures of time: its softness, its weight, its persistence. Moving through illness, joy, and myth, these stories span fleeting seconds to geological eons, each offering a glimpse into time’s many dimensions, contained within a single page.
The first edition of “The Scale of Time. A collection of short stories.” is a spiritual successor to “Think, Reflect, Act. A manifesto about purpose.” and published as a limited edition booklet that can unfold into a poster contained in a translucent envelope so it is easy to share with people. The printing technique used is Riso printing. A technology from Japan developed in the 80s by the Riso Kagaku Corporation.
When unfolded, the booklet transforms into a map that gives context to the introduction of the bundle. In it Tomek describes an experience of time triggered by trekking through high mountains. On the map you can follow the path Tomek took to get to that moment and the mountains he was looking at.
